The farm is in the countryside stewardship which protects all special and rare orchids which groe on the limestone banks around the farm as well as the limestone walls for which the White Peak is well known. There are excellent walks from the door to Deepdale and Cheedale and easy access to many other attractions in the area: the spa town of Buxton with it's famous Opera House; the market town of Bakewell and the beauty of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.

	Directions Topley Head Farm is situated off the main A6 from Bakewell to Buxton Travelling from Bakewell to Buxton on the dual-carriageway, go past the turning for Taddington, travel about another mile towards Buxton then pass the turning for Chelmorton and as the road begins to drop, the farm drive is on the left, opposite a lay-by on the right.
